I was a Canadian teaching English at an Elementary School in South Korea with my husband.

I am from Vancouver and couldn’t enjoy the Vancouver Olympics 2010 in person so Quatchi is my link.

I love Quatchi and think that he is awesome!

We are now retired from teaching esl and live in Canada permanently with the Quatchi family!

    • THANK YOU!!! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME! I follow your blog everyday along with Quatch Watch.

THANK YOU!!!! I also put you guys on my small blog too.

    • I just wanted to let you know that the necklace is an item for protection given by a friend of mine.It has the Archangel Michael on it. The bands are also part of a backpack that I made for Quatchi. He usually carries a cookie in it for when he gets hungry on his travels. LOL. I hope that clears the confusion. Sophia and Quatchi

  12. Hmm it looks like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything. Do you have any tips for newbie blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.

    • I don’t really have any advice except write about what you love. Just do that and it will definitely show. I just tried that and it stuck. The great thing about the internet is that everyone can have a published opinion. Good luck!

  13. Thanks! Just hearing that made my day!!! Hugs from S and the Q fam!

  14. Cool! Looking forward to future comments.

  15. This family will continue their adventures! The only difference is that it will be in Canada from September onward. (BIG SMILE!)

  16. Just let me know the name of your website and the article and give me the link. Thank you for asking and I agree to the request!

I like what you guys are up also. Such smart work and reporting! Carry on the excellent works guys I’ve incorporated you guys to my blogroll. I think it’ll improve the value of my site :) . “A court is a place where what was confused before becomes more unsettled than ever.” by Henry Waldorf Francis.

    Dear quatchifan2010,

My wife and I are very late in becoming fans of Quatchi — her brother visited Canada last year and brought home a small plush. We almost gave him away not knowing what to do with it, but slowly we became so taken with the character along with other mascots! Although Quatchi is far and away my favorite. We later got a slightly larger Quatchi plush as a present who around here goes by the name Big Brother.

I’ve been a little sad to read the slowdown/halt of Quatchi blogs, even if it’s understandable this long after the Olympics. But I have been enjoying yours a great deal! It’s so nice to be able to see other Quatchi families and their adventures. Thanks for sharing.

    • I am glad that you enjoy the blog. The Q clan is still up to their adventures but I just haven’t had time to photograph them. LOL. Besides, the weather hasn’t been the best around here either. But I promise to keep it going. Thank you for your kind and warm comments. The Quatchi family sends you tons of smiles and hugs. Sophia and the Q clan
